Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) Program

All instructors have been certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services and follow all rules and guidelines required of the certification.

Texas Driving While Intoxicated Program (DWI)

Individuals with an offense of a first DWI conviction must take this course in order to comply with the requirements of the Community Supervision and Corrections Department and with the Texas Department of Public Safety. This program is a twelve hour course. Night classes are taught in four hour sessions, three nights per week. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be issued a Texas DWI Education Program certificate of completion. A copy of the certificate will be mailed to the Department of Public Safety for the benefit of being in compliance in regards to your Texas State Driver's License status. The DWI class must have a minimum of five students to hold a class and have no more than 25 students in a class.

Important Information:

 

  • The fee is $85.00 (cashier check or money order only).

 

  • Each participant will need to provide their cause number, county of conviction, name of Probation Officer, and Driver’s License number at time of class.

  • Participants are required to attend all three scheduled days of class in consecutive order to successfully complete the program.

 

  • DWI (NIGHT) classes will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights {please check schedule closely}.

 

  • DWI (DAY) classes will be held on Saturday, Sunday, and the following Saturday {please check schedule closely}

This year, we will be offering four online classes throughout the year. We will continue to offer in-person classes on a first come first served basis.

DWI PROGRAM

DWI Intervention (Repeat Offender) Program

All instructors have been certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services and follow all rules and guidelines required of the certification.

 

Texas DWI Intervention (Repeat Offender) Program

Individuals with an offense of two or more DWI convictions must take this course in order to comply with the requirements of the Community Supervision and Corrections Department and Texas Department of Public Safety. This program is an 8 week course with two 3 hour classes taught each week. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be issued a Texas DWI Intervention (Repeat Offender Program Education certificate of completion. A copy of the certificate will be mailed to the Department of Public Safety for the benefit of being in compliance in regards to your Texas State Driver's License status. The DWI Repeat class must have a minimum of five students to hold a class and have no more than 15 students in a class.

Important Information:

  •  Participants will need to register and pay the $250 fee to ADAC in advance.  Please call 1-800-445-8562 or (936) 643-5753 to register.

 

  • Each participant needs to know their cause number and county of conviction at the time of class.

 

  • Participants are required to attend all scheduled days of class in consecutive order to successfully complete the program.

 

  • Lufkin classes are offered Thursday and Friday nights from 6 pm to 9 pm. Week-End Classes Saturday, 9am to 12pm, Sunday, 3pm to 6 pm

 

  • Nacogdoches classes are offered Monday & Wednesday nights from 6 pm to 9 pm. Week-End Classes

Saturday, 9am to 12pm, Sunday, 3pm to 6pm

 

  • Livingston classes are offered on Tuesday & Friday nights from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Drug Offenders Education Program (DOEP)

All instructors have been certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services and follow all rules and guidelines required of the certification.

 

Texas Drug Offenders Education Program (DOEP)

Individuals with an offense of a Drug conviction must take this course in order to comply with the requirements of the Community Supervision and Corrections Department and with the Texas Department of Public Safety. This program is a 15 hour course. Night classes are taught in three hour sessions, five nights per week. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be issued a Texas DOEP Education Program certificate of completion. You must mail a copy of the certificate to the Department of Public Safety for the benefit of being in compliance in regards to your Texas State Driver's License status. The DOEP class must have a minimum of five students to hold a class and have no more than 25 students in a class.
